Ng Wei Sheng named recipient of Heitech Excellence Award

PAYA BESAR, 6 November 2022 – “Do not day-dreaming and live in the present moment. Do not get stuck in the past and fixated on the future”, such are the words held dearly by Ng Wei Sheng, 24 graduate of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), who received the Heitech Excellence Award at the recent UMP 17th Convocation Ceremony.

The graduate of the Faculty of Computing was joyed because his tireless efforts paid off when he obtained a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.92 during his four-year study at UMP.

Ng Wei Sheng received the award from the UMP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin at the UMP 17th Convocation Ceremony held at the UMP Sports Complex Hall.

“I am delighted with this success and of course it is because of the encouragement of my beloved parents, Tan Lay Hong, 55 and Ng Hee Song, 58 as well as my friends who have always supported me.

“It is even more exciting as I am now a Software Engineer at Intel Microelectronics (M) SDN. Bhd.,” he said.

Ng Wei Sheng also won the Faculty Gold Award during his diploma study.
