Nurazyyati receives Professor Dato’ Dr. Mashitah Mohd Yusoff Award
PAYA BESAR, 6 November 2022 - The world was shocked by the COVID-19 pandemic that affected health and finances and claimed many lives.
In addition, it greatly affected students to continue their studies online.
However, it never stopped the recipient of the Professor Dato’ Dr. Mashitah Mohd Yusoff Award from succeeding.
Nurazyyati Inas successfully finished her study in Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Electrical) with Honours with First Class Honours.
She said that when the COVID-19 pandemic started, she was overwhelmed by home learning and lost her focus.
“I stayed with my brother and sister-in-law during the online classes.
“During the day at home, I had to take care of my niece when my brother and sister-in-law went to work.
“It was really challenging when classes were conducted online because I had to babysit my four-month-old niece,” she said, sharing her experience.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old sweet girl also helped her mother, a female entrepreneur who started a business selling popia simpul after finishing online classes during the pandemic.
She also became her mother’s agent while still studying at the faculty to earn pocket money.
While her father was a resolute yet very affectionate man.
Her father’s many awards-winning successes in innovation inspired her to succeed like him.
She would like to thank her parents who have raised her so lovingly.
She gave this success to her parents who had sacrificed a lot over the years.
“Alhamdulillah, thanks to the prayers of both parents, I am now here.
“Now, I work as an electrical engineer at Brownfield Engineering in Damansara,” said the fifth of the six siblings.
