The good collaboration between the university and the industry also shows the continued commitment of BASF, which has been a sponsor for chemical engineering graduates in the UMP Convocation Ceremony for five consecutive years.
BASF also collaborates in executing social service programmes, including providing specialised expertise and experience for UMP students and staff.
Meanwhile, VGM had always supported the joint venture in strengthening the engineering programme when it donated four car models to UMP worth RM382,072.43.

“Last semester, we received students for their internships, and four more are expected to participate in the programme after this.
“We are very satisfied with the ability of UMP students during their internships as they have high technical skills and easily cooperate with their assignments.
