Charissa Endar receives Puspanita Community Care Award

GAMBANG, 26 October 2024 – Bachelor of Business Engineering with Honours graduate Charissa Endar, 24, received the Puspanita Community Care Award at the 19th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), held at the Sports Complex Hall, UMPSA Gambang Campus.

She completed her studies with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.85.

Charissa, who achieved the Dean’s List Award for seven consecutive semesters, is now working as a Regional Management Trainee at Maersk, Shah Alam, Selangor.

According to her, she aspires to continue learning about technological advancements, business innovations, and digital transformation, especially in sectors such as logistics, automation, and data management.

“During my time at UMPSA, I was also involved in co-curricular activities and held important positions in associations and several university-organised programmes.

“I served as the Entrepreneurship and Economic Exco for ISKANDAR 2019/2020 and won a gold medal in UMPSA’s CITREX 2024 programme,” she said.

Additionally, she frequently participated in various other programmes, such as the 2024 SUKFAC Basketball event and activities organised by other clubs and associations.

She shared that past failures had once weakened her spirit to continue her studies at UMPSA.

However, with her family’s encouragement, she rose again and worked hard to be the best.

She believes that failing once does not mean failing forever.

Her life principle is continuous learning.

“This is because knowledge never stops evolving.

“I also believe in the importance of lifelong learning and self-improvement in every aspect.

“My greatest achievement was when I successfully created a barcoding system using Microsoft Access to replace manual recording for a small and medium enterprise (SME), even though I had no prior knowledge of coding,” she said.
