UMPSA honours former members of the University Board of Directors

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 December 2024 – The Sanjungan Budi Ceremony for the Former Members of the University Board of Directors of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) was held recently to appreciate the contributions and honour the services of former board members, YM Raja Khairul Anuar Raja Abd Karim, former Alternate Member of the Board representing the Ministry of Finance, and former Alumni Representative Member of the Board, Madyasir Ahmad Basir.

Present at the event were the Chairman of UMPSA’s Board of Directors, Dato’ Seri Abdul Razak Jaafar, and the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ts. Dr. Aida Mustapha.

According to Dato’ Seri Abdul Razak, the university expresses its utmost gratitude for all the services rendered.

“These contributions are greatly appreciated and would be even more valuable if continued, especially in terms of advice and expertise that can benefit the UMPSA community,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Professor Ts. Dr. Aida, in her speech, mentioned that the ceremony served as a recognition of the outstanding services of both leadership figures who have significantly contributed to the university.

“The contributions of these former members of the University Board of Directors hold great meaning and impact for UMPSA,” she said.

Also present were members of the UMPSA Board of Directors, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs), Professor Dato’ Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Ziad Sulaiman, and the Registrar, Dato’ Saiful Bahri Ahmad Bakarim.
