UMPSA strengthens sustainable agriculture through Ketum Ayam Project

SETIU, 18 January 2025 – A total of 60 residents attended the launching ceremony of the Ketum Ayam (Trichantera gigantea) Project, including 20 farmers who have registered to participate in the programme offered by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) in Kampung Ulu Kekabu, Setiu. 

Through the implementation of the Ketum Ayam Project, UMPSA continues to play a crucial role in strengthening the sustainable agriculture sector.

SETIU, 18 Januari 2025 – Seramai 60 orang penduduk tempatan menghadiri program perasmian Projek Ketum Ayam termasuklah 20 orang petani yang telah berdaftar untuk mengikuti dan menjalankan program yang ditawarkan Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) di Kampung Ulu Kekabu, Setiu. 

Melalui pelaksanaan Projek Ketum Ayam, UMPSA terus memainkan peranan penting dalam memperkasakan sektor pertanian mampan. 

18 UMPSA volunteers join Kashmir Humanitarian Mission to repair bridges and improve access for residents

KASHMIR, INDIA, 7 October 2024 – In a heartfelt effort to make a meaningful impact, 18 volunteers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), including staff and students, embarked on a humanitarian mission to Kashmir, India, under the International Mobility Travel Programme.

This initiative not only allowed participants to expand their technical and academic skills but also fostered close connections with the local community, embodying the spirit of collaboration and care.

MARAN, 10 Oktober 2024 – Pusat Bahasa Moden (PBM) dengan kerjasama Institut Pengajian Siswazah (IPS), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) baru-baru ini telah mengadakan program Community Outreach @PPD di tiga daerah negeri Pahang iaitu Maran, Temerloh dan Bera. 

Inisiatif ini melibatkan kerjasama erat antara UMPSA dan komuniti pendidikan di Pantai Timur iaitu Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Pahang (JPNP) dan Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah (PPD).

UMPSA celebrates Maulidur Rasul and TVET Adventure with Kuala Krau Community

KUALA KRAU, 11 October 2024 – An-Nur Mosque in Kuala Krau, Temerloh resounded with salutations to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during the recent Maulidur Rasul celebration.

The programme, organised by An-Nur Mosque in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), was part of the UMPSA@Kuala Krau TVET Adventure, aimed at strengthening the relationship between the university and the local community.
