UMPSA reaches out to campus community in iftar ceremony
PEKAN, 11 March 2026 – The warmth of Ramadan continues to be felt among the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) community as the university today organised an iftar ceremony that brought together the university’s management team, staff, and students at Masjid Al-Jazari, UMPSA Pekan.
The ceremony served as a platform that united the university community in a blessed atmosphere while strengthening ties between the university’s top management and the campus community.
The Vice-Chancellor of UMPSA, Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah Alias, said that the programme reflects the university’s commitment to fostering the values of togetherness and strengthening the spirit of family among UMPSA members.
“The month of Ramadan is the best opportunity for the university community to strengthen relationships while enhancing the appreciation of noble values in daily life.
“This iftar ceremony is not only a platform for us to gather and enliven Ramadan, but also strengthens the bonds of friendship among members of the university community in a harmonious and blessed atmosphere,” she said.

At the same time, the ceremony also witnessed the presentation of contributions to students in need, including those from the asnaf group and the B40 group, as part of the university’s efforts to ensure that student welfare is always given due attention.
In addition, Syawal kits sponsored by Yayasan UMPSA were presented to the university’s frontliners as a token of appreciation for their commitment and dedication in carrying out their duties and ensuring the smooth operation of the university.
A Ramadan tazkirah was also held, emphasising the importance of strengthening faith throughout this blessed month, especially as the final 10 days approach Syawal.
At the same time, a Hari Raya takbir recording session involving the university’s management team and campus community was also held.
Also present were members of the University Board of Directors, YH Dato’ Hamdan Hussin and Professor Ir. Dr. Mohd Faizal Jamlos.
