UMPSA Vice-Chancellor presents promotion letters to five university lecturers

PEKAN, 7 April 2026 – A total of five academic staff members of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) received promotions in a presentation session held today.

The Vice-Chancellor of UMPSA, Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah Alias presented the promotion letter to the lecturer from the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA), Professor Dr. Rizalman Mamat, who was promoted to the position of Professor, Special Grade B (VK6).

UMPSA Library transformation enhances access, creates new user experience

PEKAN, 9 April 2026 – The Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Library has introduced a new concept of library services that is more open and flexible, transforming the user experience towards a smoother and more technology-friendly learning environment.
  
This concept has been implemented in line with the use of new ultra high frequency (UHF)-based technology, which is capable of detecting library materials more widely and efficiently without the need for a physical gate structure.

UMPSA introduces LibGO application, book borrowing now easier and faster

PEKAN, 3 April 2026 – In line with the wave of digitalisation, the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Library is moving forward by introducing a new book borrowing method through the LibGO mobile app.
This initiative not only strengthens the concept of self-service and a seamless user experience but also offers a smoother, faster, and more technology-friendly user experience to the campus community.

UMPSA reaches out to campus community in iftar ceremony

PEKAN, 11 March 2026 – The warmth of Ramadan continues to be felt among the Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) community as the university today organised an iftar ceremony that brought together the university’s management team, staff, and students at Masjid Al-Jazari, UMPSA Pekan.

The ceremony served as a platform that united the university community in a blessed atmosphere while strengthening ties between the university’s top management and the campus community.

UMPSA organises Best Practices Sharing Convention following 2025 Staff Mobility Programme

GAMBANG, 5 March 2026 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) organised the Best Practices Sharing Convention following the UMPSA Staff Mobility Programme, attended by nearly 200 university staff members.

The programme aimed to serve as a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices resulting from staff participation in mobility programmes both locally and abroad.
