Effort, perseverance, and sacrifice: The greatest secrets to Mohamad Akib’s success

GAMBANG, 29 October 2024 – Mohamad Akib Baharom expressed his gratitude after being named the recipient of the UMPSA Advanced Lifelong Learning Excellence Award – Executive Professional Programme at the 19th Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Convocation Ceremony recently.

Throughout his studies at UMPSA, he faced numerous challenges and constraints.

“I successfully completed my Executive Master of Corporate Management, and through learning at UMPSA, I was able to oversee corporate operations, explore new markets aligned with industrial developments, and develop more sustainable strategic communication plans to lead the company,” he stated.

Always challenging himself beyond his capabilities and seeking new ideas without becoming complacent has been the secret to his success all this time.

“I hope that my success and achievements can inspire people of all ages, proving that there are no limits to learning as long as we walk this earth granted by Allah,” said the Chief Executive Officer of Ain Aquaculture, who achieved a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.98.

Despite his busy schedule as the primary leader of his company, Mohamad Akib remains determined to stay active in community activities.

Among others, he consistently seeks collaborations with government agencies such as Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), the Foundation for the Welfare of Orphans (YAATIM), the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN), and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia (KBS Kelantan) in implementing programmes such as Mobilisation of Malaysian Volunteer Youths (SATRIA) and the Senior Citizen Outreach Programme at the Tumpat District Level.

The discipline he demonstrated in every activity proves how serious he is in achieving the organisation’s goals.
Similarly, his integrity and generosity in sharing knowledge and resources are also commendable.

Mohamad Akib also prioritises religious matters, where he encourages the organisation of religious classes, Quran recitation classes with tajwid, and Quranic tadarus sessions.

For him, these activities are crucial because the most meaningful success is success in both this world and the hereafter.
