UMPSA pro-chancellor: Research should be measured by impact, not just numbers and awards

KUANTAN: Research conducted at universities should not be evaluated solely based on the number of publications or recognitions but by its ability to contribute meaningfully to policy development, industry innovation and the well-being of society.

Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Pro-Chancellor Tan Sri Abi Musa Asa'ari Mohamed Nor said: "For researchers, each new discovery serves as a stepping stone to inspire and dream towards greater discoveries.
