The Global Leadership Summit programme revealed the creativity of MRSM students

PEKAN, 3 December 2023 – A total of 504 students of MARA Junior College of Science (MRSM) were exposed to creativity in the Global Leadership Summit & MRSM Homeroom Colloquium All-Malaysia (Eastern Zone) 2023 programme recently.

The Closing Ceremony of the programme was officiated by the Vice Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin at MRSM Tun Abdul Razak Pekan as host.

It involves the participation of 14 MRSM Eastern Zone.

The Global Leadership Summit programme is a platform that provides an opportunity and space for the Student Leadership Body (BKP) MRSM All-Malaysia to exchange opinions, discuss and produce creative, innovative, and charismatic future leaders.

While homeroom is an important element in the education system at MRSM and is part of the curriculum that has been introduced since its inception which is based on Entrepreneurship and Global Education.

The Vice Chancellor also praised the curriculum introduced by MRSM by sharing the experience of his three children who are also former MRSM students who also followed this homeroom module.

In his speech Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Yuserrie also gave advice for the students to stick to noble values not only individual values such as self-reliance, independence, pragmatism but also family and community values such as respect for parents, teachers, compassion and consideration for others.

 "Keep believing and try as hard as possible to achieve your goals.

"If you want to work hard, then success will definitely be yours.

"Continue to continue studying to the highest level and never stop studying," he said.

He said, there is no problem to be an influencer or content creator, but be knowledgeable," he said.

In the same ceremony, he also presented prizes to all the winners for several activities that took place from 1st to 3rd December 2023.

Also, present were Deputy Director 2 of MARA Management, Mohamad Arif Fahmi Abdul Ghani, MRSM Principal Tun Abdul Razak, Pekan, Muhamad Abu Bakar Ismail,
and the Eastern Zone MRSM principals.
