KUANTAN, Oct 27 : Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Alliance Steel (M) Sdn Bhd (ASSB) and ATOZ Solution Sdn Bhd in an effort to enhance the skills of their employees in Mandarin.
The collaboration will also benefit the university’s students in terms of industrial training placement and career opportunities at the two companies.
UMP vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Seri Dr Daing Nasir Ibrahim said UMP as a leading technology university is always working to improve cooperation between universities and industry.
“I am convinced that the Mandarin Language and Culture Centre (MLCC), which is under UMP, has the ability to offer Mandarin for Industry which will be held at Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP).
