Although the 24-year-old Mitchell Enrique Kuansin grew up in a modest family, she is determined to succeed in her studies that she received two awards of the Sabah Foundation Excellence Prize and Dual-Degree Verein Deutscher Ingenieure Excellence Award.

Nurul Nadiah Abdul Halim, a graduate of Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Natural Resources, really made her parents proud when she obtained the Dean's Award for seven consecutive semesters.
She is the eldest daughter of Abdul Halim Abdul Hamid and Hayati Mohd Yusoff and she has a philosophy to do the best in anything and become a person who can contribute to the nation.

Ts. Dr. Mohd Hafizil Mat Yasin might have to deal with travelling for thousands of miles from Peninsular Malaysia and separated from his loved ones before he could complete his doctorate degree in mechanical engineering (fuel combustion), done on a part-time basis, at the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering in Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP).

The distance was never an obstacle for him.

The Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and the country’s reigning King, His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah, has urged the university to place more emphasis on the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as one of the future drivers of tertiary education.
