UMPSA organises UMPSA Strategic Plan 2026-2028 Engagement Session with students
PEKAN, 13 June 2024 – The Centre for Strategic Management and Quality (PPSK), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) held an Engagement Session on the Development of the UMPSA 2026-2028 Strategic Plan (UMPSA28) with Students at DK3, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE), Pekan recently.
The session involved 25 students from various faculties in Pekan.
Various interesting views and recommendations were obtained through the session, which covered aspects of academics, teaching and learning, facilities, technology, training, mobility programmes, final year projects, level of service satisfaction and campus life.
Attention would be given to the findings from the engagement session in arranging strategies and action plans towards improving services at UMPSA.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Strategic Management Division, PPSK, Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Fauri@Fauzi, who moderated the session, also hoped that students would present honest and comprehensive views to help the university prioritise important segments that need attention.
According to the first-year student of the Faculty of Computing, Ahmad Husamuddin Azmafaizal, this session showed that the university administration wanted the best for the students.
“I hope that this session will be held more frequently in the future and more views can be channelled through the right medium,” he said.
This relaxed session using the Padlet platform showed that students were excited to provide feedback on every question that led to campus life and student development.
