TANJUNG MALIM, 4 February 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to expand its global strategic network by forging new collaborations at the Higher Education Forum Between the Government of Malaysia and the Republic of Uzbekistan, recently held at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).

The forum was jointly organised by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE), the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, and UPSI.

UMPSA collaborates to expand open access to theses and dissertations with Malaysian public universities

PUTRAJAYA, 13 February 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has established a collaboration on Open Access to Theses and Dissertations among Malaysian public universities.

This collaboration enables all 20 public universities to implement initiatives in creating an ecosystem for sharing scholarly resources among researchers, students, and the community, ultimately enhancing Malaysia’s visibility as an internationally recognised centre of knowledge.

PEKAN, 3 February 2025 – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, today reached out to UMPSA students by distributing bottled water and bread to them before they sat for their Semester I Academic Session 2024/2025 final examination, held at the UMPSA Multipurpose Hall, Pekan.

Professor Dr. Yatimah also conveyed a message to students, encouraging them to be prepared and take care of their health throughout the examination period.

PEKAN, 14 February 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) student, Thavirat Supkhasin a/l Aran, 26, a pioneer graduate of the UMPSA-Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) Dual Degree Programme, is excited to begin his career as an Electrification System Engineer at Malaysia Rail Link Sdn. Bhd. (MRL), Dungun, Terengganu, starting on 5 March.

This Kelantane now holds a degree in Electrical Engineering in Automation from BJTU.

GAMBANG, 10 February 2025 – Dr. Agi Augustine Aja, a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), has shared his dream of winning the prestigious Nobel Prize at the international level.

Dr. Agi Augustine Aja, who is among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, according to Elsevier and Stanford University, expressed confidence that his dream will come true one day.

PEKAN, 4 February 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) and the Malaysian Prisons Department (JPM) have recently strengthened their collaborative ties in advancing the TVET Agenda.

The ceremony marked a courtesy visit by the Malaysian Prisons Department, led by Deputy Commissioner General Dato’ Haji Abdul Aziz Abdul Razak, who is Exercising the Function of Commissioner General of Prisons, together with five senior officers from the department.
