GAMBANG, 19 June 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) once again takes a step forward to strengthen the national Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Agenda by organising the UMPSA Open Day 2025 in conjunction with the National TVET Day Celebration, which took place for two days from 18 to 19 June 2025 at the Sports Complex Hall, UMPSA Gambang Campus.

PEKAN, 30 June 2025 – The eco-friendly cleaning innovation, Green Degreaser, developed through the collaboration of Year 6 pupils from Sekolah Rendah Islam Al-Amin Paya Besar (SRIAAPB), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), and MNR Multitech Sdn. Bhd. has successfully made a significant impact in addressing chemical pollution and supporting environmental sustainability.

The product was initially developed from discussions in January 2025 and was fully completed in May 2025.

KUANTAN, 30 June 2025 – Nestled within the beautiful surroundings of the Pahang National Park lies a pressing challenge faced by kelulut honey entrepreneurs—the recurring threat of Sun Bear attacks.

This persistent problem has long troubled Ahmad Izzudin, the owner of Lior Farm, who has had to deal with the destruction of kelulut nests caused by wild animals each year.

MELAKA, 25 June 2025 – The robotics team from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) succeeded in winning two gold medals in the 18th Malaysia FIRA RoboWorld Cup 2025 held from 21 to 26 June 2025 at Politeknik Merlimau Melaka.

It was UMPSA’s first participation in the prestigious competition organised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) through the Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education (JPPKK).

JERANTUT, 24 June 2025 – The Economic Generating Fertigation Project implemented by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) at Madrasah Darul Uloom Al-Islamiah, Sungai Salan, Jerantut, Pahang, under the Community Empowerment Programme initiative by the Ministry of Finance–Public Universities (Komuniti @UNIMADANI) 2024 continues to record positive achievements as it successfully produced nearly four tonnes of cucumber harvest with income reaching RM8,000 within a seven-day collection period.

UMPSA expands global footprint through student mobility to Kazakhstan

GAMBANG, 30 May 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to advance its Internationalisation Agenda through the Non-Credit International Mobility (Outbound) Programme with the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), Kazakhstan.

A special farewell ceremony was held today at UMPSA to honour five students who will be participating physically in Kazakhstan, while another seven will join the same programme virtually.

GAMBANG, 19 June 2025 – Five senior lecturers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) have been officially promoted to the position of Professor, Special Grade C (VK7), during a session held at the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Chancellery Building, UMPSA Gambang Campus.

The letters of promotion was presented by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, in a session attended by Faculty Deans, the Chief Operating Officer cum Registrar of UMPSA, and officers from the Human Resource Management Division.
