UMPSA Bridge Run attracts over 2000 participants

PEKAN, 2 September 2023 - More than 2,000 participants crossed the Sultan Abu Bakar Bridge in Pekan during the UMPSA Pekan Bridge Run 2023, held in conjunction with the 21st Anniversary and the Rebranding of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), which took place recently.

The event was graced by His Royal Highness the Regent of Pahang, Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, who also participated in the 5 km run.

UMPSA Contingent Adds Festivity to Independence Day Parade and Procession

KUANTAN, 31 August 2023 - Two contingents from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) participated in the Parade and Procession of the 66th Independence Day Celebration at the State Level for Pahang in 2023, held simultaneously in the districts of Kuantan and Pekan.

A total of 50 members of the UMPSA community, including students and staff, took part in the procession in Kuantan, which was held at MBK 4 Field.

PADANG, INDONESIA, 11 August 2023 - Staff and students from the Faculty of Manufacturing Engineering and Mechatronics Technology (FTKPM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), recently organized a community service programme with students from Universitas Putra Indonesia, Yayasan Perguruan Tinggi Komputer (YPTK).
A total of 12 participants, including five staff members and seven UMPSA students, took part in the community service programme.

PEKAN, 4 September 2023 - Sepak takraw is one of the sports that has the potential to bring medals to Malaysia, but it is only contested up to the Asian Games level.

Although it had begun to be competed professionally around 1960, the development of takraw technology which was seen as poorly developed, was one of the factors that this sport not being successfully competed in the Olympic Games.

One particular occupational disease that has garnered attention is work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).

However, there are limitations and weaknesses observed in the field of workplace ergonomics management that contribute to the prevalence of MSDs worldwide.

Each office in the centre of responsibility is encouraged to display the Jalur Gemilang to show their patriotic spirit during this independence month.
