MBA UMPSA opens opportunities to improve career and organizational management skills

GAMBANG, 20 August 2023 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) is offering the public an opportunity to enrol in its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme. 

The programme aims to provide professionals working in various industries with a chance to further their studies at the master's level, enhancing their careers and developing skills in organizational and business management.

Applications are also open to individuals without a bachelor's degree but with extensive work experience. 

These candidates can apply through the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL A) process, which assesses learning based on their previous experience.

According to Dr. Noraina Mazuin Sapuan, Head of the MBA Programme at the Faculty of Industrial Management (FIM), the job market is now dominated by highly skilled talent, aligning with the country’s transformation towards a digital economy and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 initiative.

“Today, employers are seeking candidates with strong leadership and decision-making abilities, teamwork skills, and strategic communication expertise capable of influencing stakeholders from various backgrounds.

“These qualities are crucial for the future growth of companies and businesses as they work towards digital transformation,” she said.

Dr. Noraina also emphasized that the UMPSA MBA programme is tailored for professionals interested in enhancing their skills in management and entrepreneurship.

She further explained that students will be exposed to real-world scenarios through industry case studies, drawing on the experiences of experts from various sectors.

“Students will also learn about management sustainability through the concept of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), equipping them to manage organizations in a high-tech ecosystem and make decisions that positively impact not only their companies but also the community and environment,” she added.
