PAYA BESAR, 8 November 2022 - A total of 35 graduands of the Competency-Based Talent Management Professional (CBTM) 3.0 programme in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and the Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT) received their diplomas presented by the UMP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin in conjunction with the 17th UMP Convocation Ceremony held at the UMP Sports Complex Hall.

PAYA BESAR, 8 November 2022 - A emotional atmosphere enveloped the hall as names were read out as family members took to the stage representing graduands in the sixth session of the 17th Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Convocation Ceremony.

Ana Suriana Abu Bakar from Mersing, Johor represented her late husband, Imran Ibrahim, 49, receiving the Executive Master of Safety, Health and Environment, UMP Advanced presented by the UMP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin.

PAYA BESAR, 6 November 2022 – The newlyweds, Muhammad Shafinaim Akmal Zukifli and Nur Shahida Azzahra Mohd Zamri shared their double joy when sharing the stage at the 17th Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Convocation Ceremony a day after their wedding ceremony.

More meaningfully, the couple were awarded B.Eng (Hons) Mechatronics Engineering degree at the same time at the UMP Sports Complex Hall.

PAYA BESAR, 7 November 2022 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) launched the Ready to Eat food package using retort technology under the food@campus (UMP Campus Pantry) initiative in collaboration with the various parties.

The launch took place in conjunction with the inauguration ceremony of the Malaysian Taste Food Festival and ExpoConvo 2022 which was officiated by the Chairman of the UMP Board of Directors, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman.

PAYA BESAR, 5 November 2022 - A sense of responsibility to empower the practice of Islamic medicine became the reason for Dr. Haji Jahid Sidek to complete his second doctoral thesis (PhD) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP).

At the age of 83, he is the oldest student in Malaysia to receive a second Doctor of Philosophy degree delivered by the UMP Pro-Chancellor, Tan Sri Dato Sri (Dr.) Abi Musa Asa’ari Mohamed Nor during the first session of the 17th UMP Convocation Ceremony.

PAYA BESAR, 6 November 2022 - Three sets of twins were excited to celebrate the graduation ceremony together during the 17th UMP Convocation Ceremony.

They were Mohammad Amir Arsyad Abdul Aziz and Mohammad Amir Asyraf Abdul Aziz, Nur Adilah Abdul Halem and Nur Atiqah Abdul Halem, and Foo Jing Wen and Foo Jing Ying.

Everyone was excited to be able to celebrate this momentous day with their respective twins and loved ones.
