The Centre of Instructional Resources & e-Learning (CIReL) in collaboration with Human Resource Development Division of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) organised training programmes on e-learning called Online Education Training. The objective of the programme was to provide better online teaching and learning platform among the lecturers.
According to the Director of CIReL, Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Adzhar Kamaludin, the centre held the programmes virtually via Zoom, handled by the respective experts in each field.
In addition to the sacrifice of health and safety officers to go on duty as frontliners during the Movement Control Order (MCO) to curb the Covid-19 outbreak, the role of principals and fellows of residential colleges is also crucial in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the students who stay on campus.
According to the Principal of Residential College 3 (KK3), Rosjuliana Hidayu Rosli, she must ensure students remain in the good and controlled condition during the MCO.
The safety and wellbeing of nearly 1,000 students of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) in Gambang and Pekan have always been the priority of the university.
Cafeteria and retail outlets that operate from 7.00 a.m. until 7.00 p.m. as well as the internet facilities certainly comfort the students during the Movement Control Order (MCO).
According to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Professor Dato’ Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, the university provides free food for students during the MCO.
Pekan, 27 Mac- Susulan pelanjutan pelaksanaan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan di seluruh negara dan arahan penutupan semua lnstitusi Pendidikan Tinggi (IPT), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) menangguhkan semua operasi perkhidmatan dan tiada aktiviti pengajaran dan pembelajaran (P&P) termasuk dalam talian dilaksanakan sepanjang tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) sejak 18 Mac sehingga 14 April 2020.
Menjalani kehidupan sepanjang Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) semasa wabak COVID-19 ini adalah sesuatu yang baharu bagi kebanyakan kita. Maklumlah mereka yang lahir pasca merdeka ini, pasti tidak pernah merasai saat-saat darurat perang seperti nenek moyang kita yang juga mengakibatkan pergerakan terbatas malahan sumber makanan juga sukar diperolehi.
