OFFICIAL STATEMENT THE AMENDMENT OF ACADEMIC CALENDARS SEMESTER II AND SHORT SEMESTER, 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION

1. The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) has recently issued a statement on the implementation of the teaching and learning (T&L) activities at Malaysian higher learning institutions. Based on the statement, Semester II, 2020/2021 Academic Session at UMP will commence on Monday, 1 March 2021, as previously announced.

2. The T&L activities will be conducted online. However, the students who are required to return to the campus beginning 6 March 2021 will undergo the hybrid T&L (online or face-to-face) session by adhering to the established SoP.

3. Accordingly, the Senate has agreed to amend the academic calendars for Semester II and Short Semester, 2020/2021 Academic Session.

4. The revised version of the academic calendar 2020/2021 Academic Session can be found at the UMP main portal via the following http://www.ump.edu.my/index.php/en/academic-calendar.
