Kuantan, 28 April 2020 - UMP administrators and lecturers are urged to improve the information and communication (ICT) skills to address the problems faced while working from home during the Movement Control Order (MCO) directive in curbing the spread of Covid-19 in the country.

The implementation of online teaching and learning (T&L) is the best solution to ensure unaffected delivery of T&L due to the current uncertain situation.

Kuantan, 11 May 2020 - It used to be tadarus al-Quran in groups at the mosque or in the office, but the new normal has now been put into practice for the staff and students of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) where tadarus is done online to enliven the month of Ramadan this year.

Iftar in trays at campus remains in memories

Kuantan, 30 April 2020 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) students were excited when allowed to return to their homes after being stranded on campus for more than 40 days due to the Movement Control Order (MCO) started on 18 March 2020.

The first phase of the balik kampung movement to the eastern zone involved 1,154 students from public and private universities, polytechnics and community colleges, covering Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu on the night of 30 April.
