SEPANG, 13 February 2023 - A total of 45 students of the Dual Degree Programme of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) China departed to China recently to continue their studies for two years there.

The engineering students in developing the country’s rail industry are pioneer students of the dual degree collaboration programme who will continue their studies at a leading university in Beijing after two and a half years of study at UMP.

KUANTAN, 13 February 2023 - A total of 65 Kilau Volunteers of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) participated in the Coastal Cleaning and Tree Planting Programme in conjunction with the Pahang Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) World Radio Day celebration with the initiative of planting 1,000 rhu trees in Pantai Kempadang, Kuantan.

KUANTAN, 2 February 2023 - The Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS) Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) held the UMP 2023 Postgraduate Association Appointment Ceremony and UMP 2022 Postgraduate Association Appreciation Ceremony at the AC Mariott Kuantan Hotel.

The appointment letter of the UMP Postgraduate Association (PGA) 2023 was delivered by the Dean of IPS, Professor Datin Ts. Dr. Mimi Sakinah Abdul Munaim.

PEKAN, 6 February 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) entered into a partnership with Bosch Rexroth Sdn. Bhd. (Bosch Rexroth) in curriculum development activities to strengthen university-industry collaboration.

The collaboration will involve industrial training, student exchange, offering improved learning courses and making certification-based industrial training modules from Germany a reference.

However, the use rate is still minimal due to the many negative perspectives regarding the failure of RFID systems at toll road operators in Malaysia, whereas RFID has an excellent record in other countries that also operate using the same system.

KOTA TINGGI, 30 January 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) mobilised the Southern Flood Volunteer Mission by distributing donations to help flood victims in Teluk Hutan Lesung Village, Tanjung Sedili, Kota Tinggi.

PEKAN, 27 January 2023 - A total of 80 third- and fourth-graders and eight teachers, accompanied by the Principal of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Jengka 6, Faridzah Ahmad, visited Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) recently.

Also present to welcome the students was the Manager, the Office of the Vice-Chancellor (PNC), Muhammad Faisal Mohd Yasin who was also joined by the Director of the Centre for Marketing and Academic Intake, Zainal Bahari.
