UMPSA recognised globally in ESG

PEKAN, 6 December 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) was recognised by the world when it was ranked among the 565 best in the world and 133 best in Asia in the QS Sustainability Ranking 2024 which assesses universities based on actions taken on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues.

This rating is based on three main assessment scopes, namely Environmental Impact 45%, Social Impact 45% and Governance 10% involving 1,403 universities listed worldwide.

UMPSA equipped with state-of-the-art facilities will produce successful engineers

GAMBANG, 21 October 2023 - A graduand of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Pagie Lau Ting Ying from Miri, Sarawak received the Presidential Academic Excellence Prize from the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) at the UMPSA 18th Convocation Ceremony held at the UMPSA Sports Complex Hall, Gambang Campus.

The second child of three siblings is a B.Eng (Hons.) Mechanical Engineering graduand from the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA).

Recipient of UMPSA-German Dual Degree Academic Excellence Prize best graduate in Hochschule Reutlingen

GAMBANG, 21 October 2023 – The dual degree programme that started in 2010 has seen 293 students successfully graduate and are now all over the globe with different expertise including Joel Marianus Mukui, 27 who successfully obtained the UMPSA-German Dual Degree Academic Excellence Prize.

The graduand of the Bachelor of Business Engineering with Honours from the Faculty of Industrial Management (FPI) UMPSA was also awarded the best graduate while studying at Hochschule Reutlingen, Germany.

Ridiculed that she wouldn’t succeed, Laili proves otherwise

GAMBANG, 22 October 2023 - Insinuations that she will not succeed have become the spark for Nur Layli Wirman, 25, the daughter of a former tailor, Wirman Tengku Munaf, 61 and restaurateur, Afni Zakaria, 58, to prove people’s perception of her family is completely wrong.

Friendly addressed as Layli, she proved that she was able to obtain the Dean’s List Award five times during her study.

In addition, she won the Ir. Kee Book Hee Excellence Award.
