FTKEE emerges as Champion of UMPSA Inter-Faculty Games (SukFAC) 2024

GAMBANG, 24 November 2024 – The Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Technology Engineering (FTKEE), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), made history by clinching the overall championship title for the first time at the Inter-Faculty Games (SukFAC) 2024.

FTKEE secured victory with four gold medals in the Men’s Team Chess, Men’s Team Tenpin Bowling, Men’s Team Field Bowling, and Women’s Volleyball events.

The prize presentation ceremony was officiated by the Dean of FTKEE, Professor Ts. Dr Hamdan Daniyal. Also in attendance were the Director, Centre for Alumni Relations, Ts. Dr Azri Alias, Senior Youth and Sports Officer, Nur Adam Maximillian, Youth and Sports Officer, Eizat Mokhtar, and the Director of the SukFAC 2024 Programme, Siti Norfaraezaidah Mulpi.

Meanwhile, the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA) took home two special awards: the Best Opening Ceremony Parade Award and the Best Ultras Award.

The 14th SukFAC featured 13 events, divided into two phases. Phase 1 included Field Bowling, Petanque, Tenpin Bowling, Volleyball, Basketball, Rugby 10’s, Sepak Takraw, Badminton, and Chess, held on 16 and 17 November at the UMPSA Pekan and Gambang campuses.

The games concluded with Phase 2 events—Handball, 7’s Football, Ping Pong, and Netball—which were held on 23 and 24 November 2024 at the UMPSA Sports Complex, Gambang Campus.
