PUTRAJAYA, 23 October 2023 - In line with the National Green Agenda, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) launched the use of electric vehicles in utilising technology and innovation for the betterment of future generations.

The application of technology and the adoption of a better lifestyle can be achieved through the reduction of carbon footprint that will provide innovative solutions to the energy industry.

GAMBANG, 15 October 2023 - The Minister of Higher Education, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin officiated the Open Day and 2023 Convocation Expo of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) at the Sports Complex Hall UMPSA Gambang Campus recently.

The programme succeeded in driving the agenda of empowering students when students were able to be independent and move on their own with the least supervision or support throughout the programme.

KOTA KINABALU, 12 October 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) is strengthening its collaborative relationship with the Sabah Foundation Group (YS) and the Yayasan Sabah College of Technology (KTYS) regarding educational sponsorship and student intake.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is an extension of the long-standing collaboration between the Sabah Foundation, KTYS, and UMPSA.

KUALA LUMPUR, 13 October 2023 - The World Sustainable Construction Conference Series 2023 (WSCC Series 2023), organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology (FTKA), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), was held physically from October 13 to 14, 2023 at the Tamu Hotel & Suites, Kuala Lumpur.

The two-day conference successfully gathered a total of 100 conference papers from academics, researchers, and representatives from various local and international higher education institutions (HEIs).

PEKAN, 14 October 2023 - The lake at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) in Pekan became a focal point for anglers as over 200 people, along with their families, gathered for a Fishing Competition in conjunction with UMPSA's 21st Anniversary Celebration and in anticipation of UMPSA's 18th Convocation Ceremony to be held from 21st to 24th October.

The programme was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of UMPSA, Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin.

PEKAN, 10 October 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) received a courtesy visit from the Director of the Pahang State Civil Defence Force (APM), Colonel (PA) Che Adam Abd. Rahman, to the Commander of the Civil Defence Student Unit (Kor Sispa), Honorary Civil Defence, Professor Ts. Dr. Kamal Zuhairi Zamli, who is also the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) of UMPSA.

PEKAN, 17 October 2023 - PaTrIoT, an abbreviation for Parit Tray IoT, is a solar irrigation system that utilizes drip irrigation to water small planting areas for oil palm seedlings, utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology.

While the Ditch Tray is a tool used to germinate oil palm seeds, it utilises IoT technology to regulate the incoming water to the tray.

PEKAN, 27 October 2023 - As an industry practitioner facing challenges in analysing risks associated with psychosocial hazards, Dr. Norwahida Yakub, a 35-year-old lecturer from the Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology (FSTI) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), has developed the Risk Assessment Matrix of Occupational Stress (RAMOS), a more time-efficient and user-friendly tool.

GAMBANG, 21 October 2023 – Singgah Kopi (literally translated as Coffee Stopover) is a coffee drink-based business run by student of the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Nur Aysha Eliya Abdullah Sany with entrepreneurial mentor, lecturer of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE), Ts. Dr. Abdul Nasir Abd Ghafar.

Started operating in June 2023, Singgah Kopi was inspired after Nur Aysha participated in a business seminar organised by MyFundAction.

SHAH ALAM, 25 September 2023 - The Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) in collaboration with Aquasplash Academy recently organised a Level 1 Swimming Coach and Water Rescue programme.

The six-day programme under the Ministry of Higher Education-Professional Certification (KPT-PACE) was held in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor.
