KUALA LUMPUR, 1 May 2026 — The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah Alias, shared her views on strengthening the National TVET Agenda, which not only addresses the challenges of the Industrial Revolution but also serves as a catalyst for sustainable Bumiputera economic empowerment.

PEKAN, 6 May 2026 — Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) continues to strengthen its Digital Transformation Agenda through the organisation of UMPSA X MAPITA Digital Day 2026 held in conjunction with the Public University ICT Directors Council Meeting at Dewan Cendekia Siswa, UMPSA Pekan.

Officiating the programme was the UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ts. Dr. Yatimah Alias, who expressed the university’s commitment towards empowering digital culture and supporting aspirations towards a smart campus.

Little do we know about Pahang and Thailand share a common animal representative: the elephant. In the most visited state on the East Coast of Malaysia, Tok Gajah rules the spirit, while Thailand is nicknamed the ‘Land of the White Elephants’ for its cultural significance. On 13th May 2026, these two regions marked and heightened their spirit animal through a significant global classroom initiative between the Centre for Modern Languages, UMPSA and Mae Fah Luang University.
