KUANTAN, 5 July 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has entered into collaboration with Kuantan City Council (MBK) to improve services and boost the productivity of Kuantan city development and commercialisation of product innovation that can benefit both parties.

UMP with expertise in various fields will also contribute to collaboration in improving the development of Kuantan city towards greening and environmental sustainability.

PAKA, 18 Julai 2023 - Persepsi terhadap program Pendidikan dan Latihan Teknikal dan Vokasional (TVET) sebagai kelas kedua haruslah dihentikan demi menjamin kelestarian program TVET yang ditawarkan di negara ini, terutamanya TVET aras tinggi terus menjadi pilihan utama pelajar setelah mereka menamatkan pengajian di peringkat sekolah menengah.
 

KUANTAN, 24 June 2023 - A remarkable collaboration took place as the passionate staff and enthusiastic students from the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) united for an extraordinary cause. 

Together, they embarked on a transformative journey at the BASF Petronas Chemicals Mangrove Planting Project, situated amidst the serene surroundings of Mukim Chendor, Pahang.

CHINI, 13 July 2023 - A total of 60 volunteers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Kilau, in collaboration with the State Forestry Department of Pahang, and Next Green Pulp and Papers (NGPP), continue their mission of planting 150 trees for the second series of the 100 Million Trees Planting Campaign in Kampung Gumum, Lake Chini.

The programme is led by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Industry and Community Networking Centre (PJIM), Associate Professor Ir. Dr. Nurul Hazlina Noordin.

CHINI, 13 Julai 2023 - Seramai 60 sukarelawan Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Kilau dengan kerjasama petugas Jabatan Perhutanan Negeri Pahang dan  Next Green Pulp and Papers (NGPP) meneruskan misi penanaman sebanyak 150 pokok bagi siri kedua sempena Kempen Penanaman 100 Juta Pokok di Kampung Gumum, Tasik Chini. 

Program itu diketuai oleh Penolong Naib Canselor Pusat Jaringan Industri dan Masyarakat (PJIM), Profesor Madya Ir. Dr. Nurul Hazlina Noordin. 

PAYA BESAR, 4 July 2023 - The Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology (FTKKP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), received a benchmarking visit on the implementation of Work-Based Learning from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Terengganu Bukit Besi Campus for the Diploma in Chemical Engineering programme.

The half-day visit, involving 13 delegates from UiTM, was led by the Deputy Academic Vice-Chancellor, Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Sarifah Fauziah Syed Draman, PKK Coordinator, and staff from both programmes.

PEKAN, July 11, 2023 - A visit by a delegation from LiuZhou Railway Vocational Technology College, Guangxi, China (LZRVTC), led by the Director, Scientific & Technical Graphic Information, Professor Dr. Zhou Lan, to Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) recently provided an opportunity for both parties to leverage collaborative opportunities in the field of Engineering and Railway Technology.

PAYA BESAR, 4 Julai 2023 - Fakulti Teknologi Kejuruteraan Kimia dan Proses (FTKKP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) telah menerima lawatan penanda aras berkenaan pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Berasaskan Kerja (Work-Based Learning) dari Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Terengganu Kampus Bukit Besi bagi Program Diploma Kejuruteraan Kimia.

PEKAN, 11 Julai 2023 - Kunjungan delegasi LiuZhou Railway Vocational Technology College Guangxi, China (LZRVTC) yang diketuai oleh Director, Scientific & Technical Graphic Information, Profesor Dr. Zhou Lan ke Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) baru-baru ini memberi peluang kedua-dua pihak memanfaatkan peluang berkolaborasi dalam bidang Kejuruteraan dan Teknologi Rel. 

PEKAN, 10 July 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) will be organizing the UMP Pekan Bridge Run for the first time on 2 September 2023 to promote a healthy lifestyle among UMP residents and the local community.

With the concept of a fun run and running for charity, the event is part of UMP's corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative and aims to promote Pekan as one of the tourism destinations in the state of Pahang Darul Makmur.
