UMPSA Vice-Chancellor supports students sitting for final examinations

PEKAN, 3 February 2025 – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, today reached out to UMPSA students by distributing bottled water and bread to them before they sat for their Semester I Academic Session 2024/2025 final examination, held at the UMPSA Multipurpose Hall, Pekan.

Professor Dr. Yatimah also conveyed a message to students, encouraging them to be prepared and take care of their health throughout the examination period.

“Best wishes to all, stay focused and give your best in facing this examination.

“Throughout the examination week, UMPSA, through the Student Affairs and Alumni Department (JHEPA) in collaboration with the Academic Management Centre (PPA), has provided bottled water and bread for students during this examination period, aimed to ensure students have access to food and are well-prepared before entering the examination hall.

“This initiative is one of the university management’s efforts to engage with students while also providing motivation and encouragement before they begin their exams,” she stated.

Also present were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs), Professor Dato’ Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Ziad Sulaiman, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Rusllim Mohamed.

Meanwhile, the President of the Students’ Representative Council (MPP) UMPSA, Muhammad Haykal Halid, expressed his gratitude for this initiative and took the opportunity to join the university management in meeting other students.

The Semester I Academic Session 2024/2025 final examination is scheduled to take place from 3 to 19 February 2025 at both the Pekan and Gambang campuses.
