UMPSA Advanced and Jakarta Business School strengthen strategic partnership

JAKARTA, 31 January 2025 – UMPSA Advanced and Jakarta Business School (JBS) have strengthened their strategic partnership with the inaugural courtesy visit by the Board of Directors of UMPSA Advanced to JBS as part of efforts to reinforce academic and strategic collaboration between both institutions of higher learning.

The delegation from the UMPSA Advanced Board of Directors was warmly received by the top management of JBS, Commissioner of Yayasan KLIS, Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira Dr. Haji Nordin Kardi, accompanied by senior lecturers.

The visit aimed to review the latest developments at the institution, share insights on business education trends, and explore potential collaboration opportunities in academic and research fields.

Both parties also discussed various strategic initiatives, including student exchange programmes, joint research, and curriculum development aligned with global industry needs.

The delegation was also taken on a tour of JBS’s learning facilities.

According to the Chairman of the UMPSA Advanced Board of Directors, Dato’ Hamadan@Hamdan Hussin, the visit provided a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the learning ecosystem at JBS and to further strengthen regional networking.

“We see great potential in this partnership, especially in areas such as student and lecturer exchanges, training and skills programmes, joint research, as well as technology and expertise transfer,” he said.

Also present was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs) of UMPSA, who is also a Board Member of UMPSA Advanced, Professor Dato’ Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Ziad Sulaiman.

Other attendees included Board Members of UMPSA Advanced, Azrina Hashim and Azlinda Azman, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Ahmad Johari Mohamad, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Management, Dr. Hanafiah Ahmad, as well as General Managers of UMPSA Advanced.

The courtesy visit concluded with an exchange of souvenirs as a symbolic gesture of appreciation and commitment towards closer collaboration in the future.
