UMP utamakan kebajikan dan keselamatan pelajar

Kuantan, 3 April - Keputusan Kerajaan melanjutkan tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) dari 31 Mac sehingga 14 April depan disifatkan sebagai langkah terbaik yang dilakukan kerajaan dalam memerangi penularan wabak Coronavirus (Covid-19) di negara ini. Di sepanjang tempoh ini, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) menangguhkan semua operasi perkhidmatan dan tiada aktiviti pengajaran dan pembelajaran (P&P) termasuk dalam talian dilaksanakan sepanjang tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) sejak 18 Mac sehingga 14 April 2020.

Kuantan, 2 April – Penularan wabak Covid-19 secara global telah banyak memberikan kesan kepada seluruh penduduk dunia secara amnya dan tidak ketinggalan juga kita yang berada di Negeri Pahang secara khususnya terutama pelajar yang masih berada di UMP dan sedang melalui Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (PKP) sehingga kini di kampus Gambang dan Pekan.

Due to the outbreaks of COVID-19 in many countries around the globe, including Malaysia, items like disinfectant liquid, face mask, face shield and personal protective equipment are becoming more difficult to find in the market. 

In fact, many has tried to produce it themselves, including disinfectant liquid, as an alternative to handle the outbreak of this epidemic.  

UMP suspends T&L until 14 April

Following the extension of the Movement Control Order (MCO) across the country and the order to close all institutions of higher learning, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) has postponed all service operations and no teaching and learning (T&L) activities including online are allowed during the MCO from 18 March until 14 April 2020.
The decision also referred to the proposal of the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) in the management of academic programmes in every institution in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Students remain on campus during MCO

The Movement Control Order (MCO) until 14 April 2020 certainly provides the experience that will be remembered for the students of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), especially those who remain on the campus.

CIReL offers trainings on online teaching and learning

The Centre of Instructional Resources & e-Learning (CIReL) in collaboration with Human Resource Development Division of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) organised training programmes on e-learning called Online Education Training. The objective of the programme was to provide better online teaching and learning platform among the lecturers.
According to the Director of CIReL, Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Adzhar Kamaludin, the centre held the programmes virtually via Zoom, handled by the respective experts in each field.
