UMPSA honours former members of the University Board of Directors

KUALA LUMPUR, 3 December 2024 – The Sanjungan Budi Ceremony for the Former Members of the University Board of Directors of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) was held recently to appreciate the contributions and honour the services of former board members, YM Raja Khairul Anuar Raja Abd Karim, former Alternate Member of the Board representing the Ministry of Finance, and former Alumni Representative Member of the Board, Madyasir Ahmad Basir.

UMPSA and NIT Yonago College strengthen relations through Edu-Tourism Summer Programme 2024

KUALA LUMPUR, 10 September 2024 – A total of 11 students accompanied by Professor Morita Shiota from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Yonago College, Japan, participated in the Edu-Tourism Summer Programme 2024 organised by the Centre for International Relations (CIR), UMPSA, from 4 to 10 September 4 2024.

According to the Director of CIR, Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Azmir Mohd Azhari, the programme schedule was carefully planned to provide participants with a comprehensive experience.

UMPSA helps early childhood educators master English

GAMBANG, 28 September 2024 – A total of 47 educators from various nurseries and kindergartens around Kuantan and Temerloh participated in the programme Little Learners, Big Future: Practical Instructional Approaches for Teaching English to Young Learners, organised by the Centre for Modern Languages (CML), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), at UMPSA Gambang Campus recently.

UMPSA celebrates Integrity Month and launches Organisational Anti-Corruption Strategy (OACS) book

GAMBANG, 22 October 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) today celebrated Integrity Month and launched the Organisational Anti-Corruption Strategy (OACS) book at the university level.

Choong Wai Kit, son of tailor, receives Royal Education Award (Pingat Jaya Cemerlang)

GAMBANG, 26 October 2024 – Choong Wai Kit, 24, dedicated the Royal Education Award (Pingat Jaya Cemerlang) he received at the 19th Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Convocation Ceremony for his beloved family in return for his mother’s sacrifices when raising him and his sister.

His mother, Yee Lai Shan, 52, a baju kurung tailor, remained steadfast and eager to raise him and his sister after the demise of his father, Choong Yoke Hon.
