“Leaders with integrity will set an example for their peers and are capable of making decisions based on ethics and fairness, especially in challenging situations.

“This programme is highly relevant and important in today’s world, where organisational security and leadership integrity are the pillars of success and sustainability for an organisation.

“Organisations or government agencies constantly face various threats, whether internal or external, and these threats can affect the performance, productivity, and future of an organisation,” he said.

He further explained that these threats are closely linked to issues of ethics and integrity.

“Ignoring these two principles can create opportunities for misconduct, corruption, abuse, and misuse of power within an organisation.

“Therefore, as an institution committed to driving academic and research excellence, UMPSA takes a proactive approach by demonstrating its commitment through the organisation of today’s lecture,” he added.

He also mentioned that this event is an example of efforts undertaken to enhance awareness and appreciation of integrity values among students.

Also present were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs), Professor Dato Ir. Ts. Dr Ahmad Ziad Sulaiman; Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Centre for Industry and Community Network), Professor Datin Ts. Dr Mimi Sakinah Abdul Munaim; deans; directors; PDRM members; and university staff.

Over 200 participants, including students from uniformed bodies and UMPSA staff, attended the programme.
