UMPSA Vice-Chancellor launches Student Services Initiative and visits Student Residences

GAMBANG, 16 January 2025 – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, today launched the Student Services Initiative by the Student Affairs and Alumni Department (JHEPA).

Additionally, she conducted an official visit to Student Residences 1 and 3 at UMPSA Gambang Campus and officiated several student service initiatives, including the Central Laundry, Female Student Gymnasium, UMPSA Express Meal, and Dapur Siswa.

She also took the opportunity to visit the Student Parcel Centre, Student Residence Rooms, Student Lounge, Premium Cafeteria, and reviewed the Rahmah Student Menu provided.

According to Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, the student services initiatives being implemented are excellent and provide significant benefits to students.

“Student needs are very important, and UMPSA places great emphasis on providing the best facilities and amenities for students, consistently striving to improve the services offered,” she stated.

Present at the event were Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Rusllim Mohamed, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Professor Ts. Dr. Aida Mustapha, and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs), Professor Dato’ Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Ziad Sulaiman.

Also in attendance were Registrar, Dato’ Saiful Bahari Ahmad Bakarim, Bursar, Dato’ Zainudin Othman, Legal Advisor, Marlina Mamat, and Chief Librarian, Kamariah Gono.
