Chairman of Board of Directors visits UMP laboratory facilities

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP)’s laboratory and learning facilities were described as impressive by its Chairman Board of Directors, Dato’ Sri Ibrahim Ahmad who spent about two hours in the Gambang campus on January 22, 2019.

Dato’ Sri Ibrahim said he was pleased to see the kind of capacity UMP had and that he was satisfied with the occupational safety and health aspects that the university put great emphasis on.

40 UMP staff and students visited Al Hijrah TV station to learn more about broadcasting

In a move to further strengthen the branding campaign of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), the Vice-Chancellor Office (PNC) organised a trip to the Al Hijrah television station on January 15, 2019.

Forty staff and students took part in the trip organised under the ‘Kembara Ilmu’ programme aimed at establishing cooperation and forged closer ties with television stations in the country.

Seramai 380 mahasiswa baharu UMP mendaftar

Kuantan, 25 Januari – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) menerima seramai 380 mahasiswa baharu bagi mengikuti pengajian Sesi Akademik 2018/2019 baru-baru ini yang berjalan serentak di kedua-dua kampus.

Pendaftaran mahasiswa bermula pada jam 8.30 pagi di Pusat Aktiviti Pelajar kampus Pekan manakala pendaftaran dijalankan di Kolej Kediaman 1 dan 2 bagi mahasiswa UMP kampus Gambang.

Terokai dunia penyiaran dalam Kembara Ilmu

Kuantan, 15 Januari – Dalam usaha memperkukuh terhadap penjenamaan Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Pejabat Naib Canselor bersama delegasi seramai 40 orang staf dan mahasiswa Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) menyertai Program Kembara Ilmu dengan berkunjung ke Stesen Penyiaran TV AlHijrah baru-baru ini.

UMP Cares – Food for All Programme for students and the needy

The Islamic Centre and Human Development (PIMPIN) and MyGift Squad, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) organised a programme called ‘Food for All’ as part of the efforts to tackle issues involving some of the university students who often had to go hungry due to financial constraint.

Under this programme, students are provided with free breakfast and lunch distributed at UMP mosques in Pekan and Gambang. 

On Thursdays, UMP even provided meals for breaking of fast for those who fast on that day.
