559 new students register at UMPSA for 2024/2025 session

GAMBANG, 8 March 2025 – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, took the opportunity to meet and welcome new Bachelor’s degree students for the 2024/2025 Academic Session who registered at UMPSA Gambang Campus today.

At the same time, she also met with parents and family members who attended the event, further strengthening the relationship between the university and the students’ families.

The presence of parents, families, and new students at this registration session created an atmosphere filled with joy and hope.

A total of 559 new students registered at both UMPSA campuses, with 271 students enrolling at UMPSA Gambang Campus and 288 students registering at UMPSA Pekan Campus.

Also present were the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs), Professor Dato’ Ir. Ts. Dr. Ahmad Ziad Sulaiman, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs & Alumni), Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Rusllim Mohamed, and the General Manager of the Student Affairs and Alumni Department (JHEPA), Haryani Abdullah.

According to Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, gaining admission to UMPSA is an important step in a student’s educational journey.
