UMPSA Vice-Chancellor joins Ziarah Kasih programme to support future UMPSA students
KUANTAN, 22 February 2025 – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, participated in the Ziarah Kasih programme by visiting and personally delivering offer letters to two future UMPSA students at their homes recently.
According to Professor Dr. Yatimah, this programme is part of the university’s efforts to engage with students and provide moral support as they embark on their academic journey.
“This programme also aims to strengthen the relationship between the university and the local community while inspiring students to continue striving for success.
“We hope this visit will motivate students to work hard and achieve their dreams.
“I hope these students will study diligently and succeed throughout their time at UMPSA,” she said.
The two future UMPSA students visited were Muhammad Amirul Aizuddin Jefri and Muhammad Danish Haikal Hamzah.
Muhammad Amirul Aizuddin will be pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering (Energy) with Honours at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology (FTKEE).
Meanwhile, Muhammad Danish Haikal will be enrolling in the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours at the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA).
Both students are scheduled to register as UMPSA students on 8 March 2025.
It is hoped that this initiative will benefit all parties involved and further strengthen collaboration between the university, students, and the community.
