UMPSA and Liuzhou Railway Vocational Technical College (LRVTC) collaboration empowers Advanced TVET

Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) is leading the way in the implementation of student mobility programmes that have major implications in improving students’ global skills while enriching learning with overseas experiences.

UMPSA students have the opportunity to participate in the Malaysia-China Advanced TVET Mobility Program (MYCHAT) in line with the needs of the national TVET industry to meet industry demands.

They also have the opportunity to contribute to economic growth in line with globalisation, the knowledge-based economy, technological advances and global workforce mobility. 

According to the UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts.  Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, this international mobility programme is also one of the student internationalisation agendas in Strategic Objective 6 under UMPSA Strategic Plan which is Student Internationalisation and Entrepreneurship in line with the key performance indicators (KPIs) under the Critical Agenda Program (CAPS) for internationalisation in the National Higher Education Strategic Plan (PSTPN).

UMPSA strengthens global ties with Mohamed Bin Zayed University for humanities through strategic partnership

Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has further expanded its global presence by formalising a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH). 

The signing ceremony, held in Abu Dhabi, was graced by the esteemed presence of His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince of Pahang, Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, who also serves as Pro-Chancellor of UMPSA.
 

His attendance highlighted the importance of this strategic collaboration for both institutions.

UMPSA’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie bin Zainuddin, expressed his gratitude for the partnership, describing it as a significant milestone in the university’s international journey.

UMPSA collaboration with BAEG and PKPB in international mobility strengthens Advanced TVET

Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) collaborated with BEIFANG Automotive Education Group (BAEG) and the National Organisation of Skilled Workers (BELIA MAHIR) in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to undergo upskilling training in producing industry-available skilled professional workforce for career development and graduate employability (GE) in Malaysia.

This strategic collaboration involves PKPB and TANG International Education (China) under the efforts of Malaysia-China Institute (MCI) through China’s Belt & Road Initiative (BRI) on the implementation of the Malaysia-China Advanced TVET Mobility Programme (MYCHAT) in China.

This collaboration will benefit the national highly skilled human capital development to fill the national job market and global infrastructure development.

UMPSA expands its cooperation network to Japan

Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has taken a significant step in expanding its cooperation network to Japan by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mie University.

Representing UMPSA at the MoU signing ceremony were Associate Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Faiz Mohd Turan, Dean of the Faculty of Manufacturing and Mechatronics Engineering Technology (FTKPM), and Professor Dr. Mohd Zuki Salleh, Dean of the Mathematical Sciences Centre (PSM). 

Mie University was represented by its President, Professor Dr. Ito Masaaki, the Dean of the Graduate School of Engineering, Professor Dr. Kazuo Mori, the Director of the Centre for International Education and Research, Professor Dr. Satoshi Kaneko, and Special Vice President (Education), Professor Dr. Masataka Kubo.
