FiMiEX 2021 highlights students’ talents in product design

KUANTAN, 30 September 2021 - FIM Innovation Exhibition (FiMiEx) 2021 is seen as a platform to highlight students’ talents in institutions of higher learning, school students and the community in commercial product design as preparation before participating in recognised and prestigious innovation expos.

Revolving around COVID-19, FiMiEX 2021 is in line with the indicators in 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) themed Better, Cheaper and Faster Solutions.

Academic session is around the corner, UMP students are excited to return to campus

PEKAN, 5 October 2021 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) students will return to the campus in stages starting 15 October following the announcement on the operation of higher education institutions (HEIs) by the Minister of Higher Education, Yang Berhormat Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad recently.

Maryam’s research - from CITREx UMP to global recognition

KUANTAN, 1 October 2021 - Maryam Muzamir, 11, the daughter of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) lecturer, Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Muzamir Hasan struck it rich when she made Malaysia proud at the international level when she won three awards in the 6th Canada International Innovation and Invention Competition (iCAN 2021) in Toronto, Canada recently.

The success story of the youngest iCAN researcher was published in the local and international press and social media.

Inspiration from Mohd Akmal’s successful PhD story

KUANTAN, 28 September 2021 - Sharing pictures in the WhatsApp group to share the joy of completing his study was a surprise when his story started to spread on social media a few days ago.

According to Mohd Akmal Azhar, 36, a PhD student in Pharmaceutical Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) who works part-time as a Food Panda delivery rider, he only shared his joy when his four-year effort to complete his thesis was successfully completed.
