Ts. Dr. Mohd Azrul Hisham creates a tool to monitor physiological parameters of baby’s health

GAMBANG, 2 August 2021 - A researcher and Senior Lecturer from College of Engineering (KKEJ), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Ts. Dr. Mohd Azrul Hisham Mohd Adib, 38, invented a device to monitor the physiological parameters of a baby’s health or known as the InfaWrap Device.

According to the Taiping, Perak native, the product is intended to measure newborns’ heart rate, oxygen level (SpO2), and body temperature.

UMP distributes korban meat for 109 recipients to observe Aidiladha

PEKAN, 22 July 2021 - The Islamic and Human Development Centre (PIMPIN) of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) recently organised the Ibadah Korban and Akikah programme by sacrificing five cows in UMP Pekan to enliven the Aidiladha atmosphere.

The programme was conducted in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) established to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Jothi Letchumy receives a scholarship to continue study in the UK

PEKAN, 26 July 2021 - A graduate of Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Jothi Letchumy a/p Mahenda Kumar, 28, will be offered to pursue her study at the master’s level (MREs/Ph.D.) at Imperial College London, United Kingdom next October after receiving a scholarship for part of the fees and living allowance from Imperial College London.

Meanwhile, Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman (YTAR) will sponsor the remaining tuition fees.
