MPP UMP election successfully implemented in new norm

PEKAN, 15 January 2021 - The Student Representative Council Election (PMPP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) was successfully implemented in a new norm when the country was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the Chairman of the Student Selection Council Committee for the 2020/2021 Session, Che Muhammad Harith Ab Halim, he was grateful to those involved in ensuring the voting process can be carried out well despite the great challenges.

KPT and UMP donate to help student’s family

JERANTUT, 5 February 2021 - The Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad was present to meet and greet the family of the late Uqail Iskandar Zulkernain, a student of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) who passed away last month. 
 
During the meeting, she presented the aid and donation from UMP, National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), takaful, and a personal contribution of RM26,850.00 for this family. 

6 UMP subjects listed in QS World 2021 Ranking

PEKAN, 4 March 2021 - Six Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) subjects are listed in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021 announced today.

Engineering and Technology’s field strengthened its position when it moved to the 358th best in the world compared to 386th in last year’s ranking, making this field the 7th best in Malaysia.

UMP, Abyres Collaboration in 2u2i Programme

UMP Co-Curriculum Centre to be branded under new name

PEKAN, 22 February 2021 - The Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) Co-Curriculum Centre building located at UMP Pekan is now complete and is to be branded with a new name in line with its role in the future.
To be branded as Akademi Pengurusan Adab UMP or Adab@UMP, it will operate with new methods.
This centre will offer modular co-curricular courses.
The students are advised to seize the opportunity to register for and take these courses in an open and flexible way during their studies here.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jaya Vejayan produces Bio-Root Tok Ali capsules

A lecturer from the Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology (FSTI), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Associate Professor Dr. Jaya Vejayan a/l Palliah, 49, has been producing Bio-Root Tok Ali herbal capsules to boost stamina and fitness for men. 

Bio-Root Tok Ali is a herbal capsule with two active ingredients from the roots of white Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) and black Tongkat Ali (Polyalthia bullata).
