UMPSA enhances campus safety and well-being

GAMBANG, 18 January 2025 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has increased patrols and campus security measures while advising all students to remain vigilant at the Student Residences (RP) and around the campus, particularly at night on both the Pekan and Gambang campuses.

According to UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Yatimah Alias, the university takes the safety and well-being of students on campus seriously.

UMPSA Vice-Chancellor launches Student Services Initiative and visits Student Residences

GAMBANG, 16 January 2025 – The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias, today launched the Student Services Initiative by the Student Affairs and Alumni Department (JHEPA).

Additionally, she conducted an official visit to Student Residences 1 and 3 at UMPSA Gambang Campus and officiated several student service initiatives, including the Central Laundry, Female Student Gymnasium, UMPSA Express Meal, and Dapur Siswa.

Charting New Horizons: UMPSA KIK 2025 takes flight!

PEKAN, 16 January 2025 – The Innovative & Creative Group (KIK) is making a strong comeback! 

On 16 and 17 January 2025, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) launched its first KIK workshop of the year at the Training Hall, Registrar's Office, DiTEC Building, Pekan. 

Professor Dr. Yatimah Alias appointed as 6th UMPSA Vice-Chancellor

PEKAN, 13 January 2025 – Professor Dr Yatimah Alias, 55, has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) for two years, effective 13 January 2025.

She succeeds Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, who held the position from 1 March 2022 to 31 October 2024.

Professor Dr. Yatimah was welcomed by the university management team and UMPSA staff on her first day at the Tun Abdul Razak Chancellery Building, UMPSA Pekan Campus.
