Five UMPSA graduates from Pahang receive Excellence Awards from the Pahang Foundation

GAMBANG, 26 October 2024 – Five graduates from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), all hailing from Pahang, have been honoured with the Excellence Award by the Pahang Foundation for their outstanding achievements in academics and co-curricular activities.

The awards were presented during the 19th UMPSA Convocation Ceremony, held at the UMPSA Sports Complex Hall, Gambang Campus.

Upholding principles of excellence, Sonia Devi Dharmalingam receives UMPSA Srikandi Matahari Award

GAMBANG, 27 October 2024 – Extraordinary potential, sincerity, teamwork, patience, and life experiences have been the keys to success for Sonia Devi Dharmalingam, 24, the recipient of the Srikandi Matahari Award at the 19th Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Convocation Ceremony.

Hailing from Ipoh, Perak, she considers the challenges she faced throughout her studies as memories that will remain with her for life.

Tong Hui Shan receives UMPSA Holdings Excellence Award

GAMBANG, 25 October 2024 – “When I started my first semester about four years ago, I almost gave up as I had to adapt to the new norm of online learning due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

“However, I am grateful that those challenging times have passed, and I was able to experience a normal campus life.

Shahnizan Imran receives Ir. Kee Book Hee Excellence Award at UMPSA

GAMBANG, 26 October 2024 – Moving at one’s own pace but stepping out of one’s comfort zone is the principle and key to success for Shahnizan Imran Mohd Nazri, 24, the recipient of the Ir. Kee Book Hee Excellence Award at the 19th Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Convocation Ceremony, held at the Sports Complex Hall, UMPSA Gambang Campus.

He also adheres to the principle of not being affected by negative words or views from others seeking to bring him down.

Aiman Firdaus receives UMW Holdings Bhd. Excellence Award, proving Vocational College students can achieve greatness

GAMBANG, 26 October 2024 – Former Temerloh Vocational College (KVT) student, Aiman Firdaus Aziz, 25, has demonstrated that success is not limited to the diploma level. 

He now holds a Bachelor of Automotive Technology with Honours from the Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology (FTKMA) and has been honoured with the UMW Holdings Bhd. Excellence Award at the 19th Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Convocation Ceremony.

Muhammad Uwais receives Puspanita Community Care Award

GAMBANG, 27 October 2024 – According to Muhammad Uwais Jainal Rasol, 21, he has achieved yet another milestone in his life.

“Alhamdulillah, I successfully obtained my Diploma in Chemical and Process Engineering and also received the Puspanita Community Care Award at the 19th Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Convocation Ceremony.

Naufal Hazmi, UMPSA graduate, now a Compliance and Quality Control Engineer

GAMBANG, 26 October 2024 – The 19th Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Convocation Ceremony created sweet memories for Naufal Hazmi Azhar, 25, as he is now working as a Compliance and Quality Control Engineer at TYCO, Site Texas Instrumental 2, in Melaka.

He is also proud that he and three of his family members are UMPSA graduates.
