GAC audits FIM UMPSA Project Management Programme

GAMBANG, 22 November 2024 – The Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC) visited the Faculty of Industrial Management (FIM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), to conduct an audit for the Project Management programme as part of the accreditation renewal process from 20 to 22 November 2024.

The accreditation signifies that the Project Management programme is developed and implemented in compliance with the standards set by international professional bodies.

HE ELCa English Language Carnival boosts graduates’ skills and employability

GAMBANG, 9 November 2024 – The Higher Education English Language Carnival (HE ELCa), organised by the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) and hosted by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), served as a significant platform to improve English language proficiency among students of Higher Education Institutions (IPTs) in Malaysia.

UMPSA Journals secure second and third place for Best Journal Article at 15th MAPIM-KPT Awards

PUTRAJAYA, 18 December 2024 – Journals published by Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Press were awarded second and third place for Best Journal Article at the 15th Majlis Penerbitan Ilmiah Malaysia (MAPIM)-Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Awards 2024, held at Dewan Za’aba, Ministry of Higher Education.

The ceremony, officiated by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, YB Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud, gathered over 50 award recipients, recognising achievements from the 2023 assessment in 20 categories.

UMPSA to establish first Graduate School in Malaysia’s TVET Ecosystem

PEKAN, 20 December 2024 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) will soon establish the Graduate Engineering & Technological Business School (GET-BS), making it the first graduate school in Malaysia based on the TVET ecosystem.

This institution will serve as a graduate school focusing on management and business, with an emphasis on technology and engineering elements.

Little Learners, Big Future 2.0 Empowers 33 Preschool Educators with practical instructional approaches in teaching English to young learners

KUALA TERENGGANU, 19 October 2024 – Building on the success of its first workshop in Dewan Tun Fatimah, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) Gambang Campus, the Centre for Modern Languages (CML) proudly organised the “Little Learners, Big Future: Practical Instructional Approaches for Teaching English to Young Learners Workshop 2.0” in Kuala Terengganu, this time held at the Open University Malaysia, Kuala Terengganu, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in collaboration with Persatuan Pendidik Taska Swasta Negeri Terengganu (PPTNT). 

UMPSA and NIT Yonago College strengthen relations through Edu-Tourism Summer Programme 2024

KUALA LUMPUR, 10 September 2024 – A total of 11 students accompanied by Professor Morita Shiota from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Yonago College, Japan, participated in the Edu-Tourism Summer Programme 2024 organised by the Centre for International Relations (CIR), UMPSA, from 4 to 10 September 4 2024.

According to the Director of CIR, Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Azmir Mohd Azhari, the programme schedule was carefully planned to provide participants with a comprehensive experience.
