100 UMPSA volunteers help make Plogging@Pantai Tanjung Gosong a success

PEKAN, 23 July 2025 – Nearly 100 volunteers from Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Pos Malaysia Berhad Pahang, SWCorp, and Alam Flora came together to make the Plogging@Pantai Tanjung Gosong Programme a resounding success.

According to Director of UMPSA’s Sustainable Development Centre (SDC), Dr. Suhaidah Hussain, this event marks the second plogging series for the year, with the third series scheduled for October.

OSAKA, JAPAN, 21 July 2025 – A groundbreaking product developed through research at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has been selected to represent Malaysia at the prestigious World Expo Osaka 2025 in Japan. 

The product was created under the leadership of Ts. Mohd Najib Razali, a lecturer from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering Technology and Processes (FTKKP).

Held every five years, the World Expo is the largest international exhibition in the world.

PEKAN, 17 July 2025 – Concerns over environmental pollution caused by the use of non-environmentally friendly chemicals in the oil and gas industry became the starting point for the development of an eco-friendly formulation to replace the use of potassium chloride (KCl) in drilling operations.

This innovation was developed by a lecturer from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering Technology and Processes (FTKKP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), ChM. Ts. Dr. Siti Qurratu’ Aini Mahat.
