PUTRAJAYA, 29 March 2023 - A total of six proteges of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) successfully completed the Perdana Protege UMP Fellowship programme after serving for six months to the management of the university including the Chairman of the UMP Board of Directors, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Rahman and UMP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts. Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin.

They were celebrated at the UMP Protege Appreciation Ceremony for the UMP Perdana Fellows programme that ends on 31 March 2023.

GAMBANG, 23 March 2023 - The COVID-19 pandemic that hit the world in early 2020 had quite an impact on the country’s higher education.

Organising three Convocation Ceremonies (MKK), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) in 2022 following the pandemic starting in 2020 made history when 12,124 UMP graduands were celebrated within a year due to no convocation ceremony in 2020 and 2021.

At that time, graduands for 2020 and 2021 only received Award Documents via postage.

GAMBANG, 14 April 2023 - His Majesty Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah was pleased to spend time with Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) associates and provide donations to 60 students here.

Also accompanying were the Regent of Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah and Tengku Arif Bendahara Tengku Muhammad Iskandar Ri’ayatuddin Shah.

PEKAN, 21 March 2023 - The Yayasan UMP Smart Project involving 120 Year 6 students from 10 schools around Pekan would improve their ability to gain better understanding, experience and knowledge in instilling interest in learning.

The programme, officiated by Yayasan UMP Board of Trustees Member, Datin Sharmila Shaheen, received the collaboration of the Pekan District Education Office (PPD) and the headmasters of the schools.

PEKAN, 16 March 2023 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) organised a programme titled Pahang Cultural Icon Talk ‘Siso Kopratasa: Dari Balok ke Pentas Seni’ recently housed in the Executive Lounge, UMP Library.

PEKAN, 28 April 2023 – Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) kini memiliki penginapan mahasiswa berkonsepkan wakaf yang pertama di Malaysia apabila Kolej Kediaman Mawaddah yang terletak di UMP Pekan siap sepenuhnya dan dilancar hari ini. 

Usaha ini hasil inisiatif murni pihak pengurusan universiti yang prihatin terhadap kebajikan mahasiswa malahan menjadi lambang kejayaan suatu kerjasama erat antara semua pihak yang telah menyumbang dalam merealisasikan hasrat mewujudkan kolej kediaman dalam kampus berasaskan konsep wakaf.
