Fatini Nasuha’s Leadership and Volunteering Dedication Recognised at MARS 2023 Awards

KUANTAN, 18 May 2024 – Fatini Nasuha Ahmad Puad, a student of Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) was named the Promising Student Figure at the 2023 Mercu Sanjungan Award (MARS) Ceremony held at Zenith Hotel, Kuantan recently.

This recognition is given for her outstanding contribution to community service and volunteerism activities.
She took home a cash prize of RM700, a certificate and a trophy.

UMPSA collaboration with BAEG and PKPB in international mobility strengthens Advanced TVET

BEIJING, 29 May 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) collaborated with BEIFANG Automotive Education Group (BAEG) and the National Organisation of Skilled Workers (BELIA MAHIR) in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to undergo upskilling training in producing industry-available skilled professional workforce for career development and graduate employability (GE) in Malaysia.

UMPSA Open Day enlivens Jom Masuk U 2024 East Zone II

GAMBANG, 1 June 2024 - Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) will hold an Open Day in conjunction with the Jom Masuk U 2024 East Zone II programme on 1 and 2 June at the UMPSA Sports Complex Hall of the Gambang Campus.

According to the UMPSA Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Ts.  Dr. Yuserrie Zainuddin, the main purpose of this Open Day is to provide opportunities for the public and local communities to enter UMPSA while enjoying the beauty and unique campus environment.

Solidarity of UMPSA international students from 13 countries participating in the International SDG Run for sustainable development goals

KUANTAN, 8 June 2024 - The Pahang International SDG Run Program organised by the Centre for International Relations (CIR), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) together with the Pahang State Kelana Scout Secretariat was held at Pantai Sepat, Kuantan on the last weekend.

The programme was held with the aim of raising awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promoting healthy lifestyles through running activities.

KUANTAN, 18 May 2024 – The Mercu Sanjung Award (MARS) Ceremony, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) which took place at Zenith Hotel, Kuantan recently saw an outstanding student from the Faculty of Computing, Nur Izzaty Ariffin, awarded as an A.D.A.B Student Figure.

The award was given in recognition of her outstanding achievements in various aspects of personality development, including leadership, innovation, volunteerism and entrepreneurship.

Micro-Credentials and Global Classroom: UMPSA’s Borderless EdTech Endeavour to Empower Digital Learning

PEKAN, 1 August 2024 - The Centre of Instructional Resources & e-Learning (CIREL), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), hosted an inspiring University Teaching and Learning Innovation Carnival (UTLIC) Colloquium 2024 in Pekan yesterday, with the theme ‘Education without Borders: Empowering e-Learning through Micro-Credentials and Global Classroom’.

The event drew 178 students, educators, researchers, and professionals to explore cutting-edge advancements for future teaching and learning. 

Transforming Waste Into Wonders

PEKAN, 1 August 2024 – In a significant effort to support the Ekosistem Kondusif Sektor Awam (EKSA) week at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), the Centre for Modern Languages (CML) held a one-day innovation exhibition focusing on upcycling waste materials into functional wonders. 

The saying ‘Want not, waste not’ has never been more apt as we witnessed how versatile waste materials can be, through creative repurposing and innovative thinking.
