“This includes the TH Iqra’ Programme contribution this year, amounting to RM600,000, which will be received for the benefit of underprivileged students,” she said.
She also praised TH’s continued commitment to supporting various initiatives to sustain personal, community, and national development, particularly through zakat payments and TH Zakat Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes.
In addition, she stated that UMPSA remains consistently attentive to student welfare and hopes for more collaboration opportunities, including the sharing of expertise in innovation and technology, which will benefit all.
Meanwhile, Tuan Haji Khairoodin said that the TH Iqra’ Programme is a human capital development programme that provides financial and essential assistance to asnaf students pursuing higher education at several public universities and selected institutions nationwide.

“This programme helps ease financial burdens and facilitates university affairs for students from B40 or asnaf families,” he said.
He added that this contribution is hoped to reduce the burden on students and motivate them to complete their studies successfully and with excellence.
Also discussed were collaborative programmes, salary deduction schemes for staff, and deposit schemes for students.
TH remains committed to implementing CSR programmes to assist target groups, especially asnaf, in fostering a sustainable ummah development.
