PAKAD holds workshop to help SPM students master Science subjects

Lecturers from the Academic Association (PAKAD) of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) recently held an academic intensive workshop to help Form Five students at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Pahang (SMKAP) in Muadzam Shah prepare for their Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM) examination this year.

UMP goes the extra mile to assist new undergraduate Amrina

Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) recently went the extra mile to help new undergraduate, Amrina Rusyada Mat Kamal, made it to campus ground in Gambang, after she was offered to enroll for a Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management at the university for the 2019/2020 intake session.
Relating the benevolence experience, Amrina’s mother, Rohana Rashid, 52, said she was elated when her beloved daughter was offered to pursue her tertiary studies at UMP, but became worried of the cost she had to bear to send her over.

Two pairs of twins pursued their studies in UMP

Two pairs of twins quickly became the centre of attraction during the registration of new students for the bachelor’s degree programme for the academic year of 2019/2020 held at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) on September 2, 2019.
Muhammad Adham Jamal Akhbar and Muhammad Akram Jamal Akhbar, 19, and Safrizal Syazwan Zainal Hayat and Safrina Syazwanie Zainal Hayat, 19, were among 1,880 students who registered that day.
They arrived as early as 8.00 am.

Blessing in disguise for Siti Hanisah, a recipient of UMP’s MyGift programme

It was to be one of the happiest days of her life and a day that should be celebrated with the beloved ones but Siti Hanisah Syed Hassan came alone to register as a new student in Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) on September 2, 2019.
She took the bus all the way from Gerik, Perak as she did not want to add extra burden to her parents.
Her parents, Halimah Othman is a cleaner while Syed Hassan Azhari Syed Mohd Hasim is a rubber tapper and both suffer from high blood pressure. Siti Hanisah, 27, is the eldest of seven siblings.

German's business engineering is now in Malaysia

Business Engineering is a new branch in the business field and the programme is available at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). Graduates of this programme will become the frontrunners in business engineering of which they will integrate knowledge and skill by transforming business practices with innovative practices. They can be specialists in logistics, chain supply and production.
