Unity is an invaluable gift and needs to be uphold as well as appreciated by all people living in a multi-racial country like this country that we love.
Unity is a creation that comes from people with diverse ethnicity and religions having mutual respect of one another and are always thoughtful and mindful of their sensitivity, religion and culture, for the sake of harmony.

Wheelchairs with adjustable motorised kit for the elderly

Two Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) lecturers had come up with an adjustable motorised kit for wheelchair that would provide better mobility for the elderlies and handicapped.

The lecturers, Dr. Mohamad Heerwan Peeie, 32, from Faculty of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology and Dr. Syafiq Fauzi Kamarulzaman, 33, from Faculty of Computing were concerned with the difficulties faced by the elderlies in Mahmudah Care Centre, Semenyih when they moved around using the normal wheelchair.

UMP rewarded staff and community for quality service and exemplary work

A total of 149 University Malaysia Pahang (UMP) staff received the Excellent Service Award while 20 were recipients of the Excellent Performance Prize, which marked the university’s recognition of their quality services.

UMP also named KRT Taman Mutiara Perdana as the Best Community Partner, a show of the university’s dedication to get ahead with its communitising technology agenda.

Future graduate students need to be bold in facing global challenges

Future graduate students were advised to be bold and be prepared before entering the workforce by understanding the needs and requirements of the industry that needed them to be realistic and adaptable to the environment.

It would be an advantage for those who could speak several languages, making them more marketable.
