PEKAN, 27 December 2022 - Flash floods and rising temperatures in big cities due to urban heat islands reported by the mass media are happening more and more often lately.

This situation has sparked an idea for the lecturer of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology (FTKA) UMP, Dr. Khairul Anuar Shahid to produce CLINKROOF that could reduce the potential for flash floods and lower the temperature in the building using solid waste from palm oil mills through green roof construction.

Menyedari kekurangan itu, pensyarah Fakulti Teknologi Kejuruteraan Awam (FTKA) UMP, Profesor Madya Dr. Ramadhansyah Putra Jaya, 42 telah menghasilkan High Early Strength Pervious Concrete (HES-PC).

KUANTAN, July 21, 2022 - Dr. Nurul Azyyati Sabri and Mohd Safeirul Zaman Abd Majid were named winners of the 2021 University Academic Award (AAU) at the recent Bitara 21 Cendekia Award ceremony at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) held at the Zenith Hotel Kuantan.

Dr. Nurul Azyyati Sabri, lecturer and Head of Programme (Diploma of Industrial Sciences), Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology (FSTI), said she did not expect to be selected to receive this award for the Applied Sciences category.

PAYA BESAR, 27 Disember 2022 – Penyelidik dan pensyarah Fakulti Sains dan Teknologi Industri (FSTI), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Profesor Madya Dr. Hazrulrizawati Abd Hamid, 40 telah menghasilkan produk yang dapat digunakan bagi tujuan rawatan tulang.

Anak kelahiran negeri jelapang padi, Kedah Darul Aman itu membuat kajian tersebut dengan menghasilkan campuran antara tanduk rusa dan polimer sintetik.
